NEWS DIRECTLY FROM PORT AU PRINCE HAITI

Our missions director has just recently returned from Port au Prince, Haiti witnessing first hand the unimaginably destruction and turmoil. Everywhere hundreds of buildings still loom above the streets in mountainous heaps of concrete and mangled steel, still gripping their captives, whose hope has long since vanished. The pain and emptiness in the eyes of orphaned children everywhere is immediately wrenching. Sprawling cities made of tarps, garbage and scraps house tens of thousands of suddenly homeless people, these make shift villages strain and reach for miles in every direction. The Haitian people move on the best they can in seemingly impossible circumstances, stunned and aching but never giving up. Their perseverance and passion for a better life for future generations is a testament to what a these beautiful people can endure and overcome.

THE CHOLERA EPIDEMIC STRIKES

Although sparsely touching the headlines, in addition to already living in the midst of utter chaos floods and a Cholera epidemic strikes. The best way to reduce the impact of Cholera is to provide access to clean, safe drinking water. The need is tremendous but together we can be part of the solution. Fresh Fire Ministries is working side by side with with local pastors in Haiti. We are helping to complete and make operational a water purification system that is housed in the absolute center of what is known as the poorest neighborhood in the Western Hemisphere, Cité Soliel, just a few minutes north of Port au Prince. Hundreds of people line up down the street for free clean water. Afraid the water will run dry occasional scuffles break out amongst the people, the pastors try to calm the them by explaining there will be more water for everyone.

PLEASE BE 1 OF 160 PEOPLE THAT HELP US REACH OUR GOAL

Please prayerfully consider helping us. Each water truck costs $50, holds 2500 gallons and provides drinking water for 83 people for an entire month. To reach our goal we are asking for 160 people to give a $50 one time donation towards this project. Todd and a team of 30 people are headed to Haiti in a few weeks to minister to the tens of thousands of people in the area who are receiving this water. During daily outreaches as well as ministering healing and preaching salvation we are inviting everyone to come to the evening healing crusade meetings. We are expecting a great harvest of souls and healing in the bodies and hearts of thousands. I'm not sure there is a better way to have a more direct impact on these lives than giving in this tangible way. Please be a part of touching these lives with the gospel.
If we all do a little, together the impact will be large and lasting for generations.
Yours in the Harvest,

Todd Bentley
